About the author

Introduction to the Manifestation Code

The word "code" refers to a set of laws and principles. And it is a unitary, ordered and systematised set of rules. It is an original term from the Latin word "codex", and it means ‘book of laws or principles’ which govern a subject. This book will reveal to you the "12 powers" to fulfil your desires, based on the laws of the mystics of the Antiquity.

This set of principles –as I have ordered and systematised them- they make up "The Manifestation Code" and they are a spiritual technology to make the invisible visible.

Although the concepts on which I have based the "12 powers" may seem like a commonplace to you, or you think you already know them, I will provide you with a new meaning for those concepts, please let yourself be surprised.

What you are going to read next is not new, but it has been forgotten. In the distant future it will be a no-brainer. This is my vision of the future: in a few thousand years, the illiterates will be those people incapable of designing their life at their choice.

Spiritually enlightened people, the majority, will align their intention with their manifestations and only those who have fallen behind, the minority, in their spiritual development, will suffer an unelected destiny.

Why "12 Powers"? Jesus came into the world to lead mankind to another level and was assisted by twelve apostles. In my opinion, the content of this book also requires twelve columns in which it is supported.

The Apostles were disciples. And my definition of discipline is "to be a disciple of an idea". Here are 12 ideas to be disciplined. What’s next it’s the twelve qualities for the creation of new realities. I recommend you to use the "12 powers" in your life (as a habit) and you will awaken a creative power previously unknown for you that will allow you to lead to have a life of abundant prosperity in all aspects.

I have written this book to show you that raising your life is not only possible, but, according to the universal laws I will explain, it is natural when you are in consistency with these unchanging laws. I believe that we have been culturally conditioned to think as it is established, which leads to a life of "bearable failure" and "silent despair". And the saddest thing: to believe that dreams, dreams are, that success is for a few, and fear for everyone...

If life were like that, this universe would be dead. But everything indicates otherwise. You will agree that we have been conditioned to believe that pursuing our desires generates selfish behaviours. We have also been conditioned to adapt to the world at the expense of ignoring our inner universe.

But if everyone focused on spirituality, instead of giving it up, this would be a world of realised and happy people.

Writing about the non-manifest, its laws and principles, using the limited vocabulary of a Western language is bold; because words are symbols that lead us away doubly from the truth. The first time because a mental concept is a misrepresentation of the truth; and the second, because choosing a word that represents that concept is limiting the truth.

Every time I have sat down to write a few pages of this book, I have invited the Spirit to inspire me as an instrument for his wisdom. I am not saying that this is a channeled book, but it is very inspired and that I do not feel that I own the content of this work. As you will appreciate, in some passages the inspiration is easier to notice, and in others less, according to my inner connection.

Some of the ideas I have written I had once thought about them, but others I thought about them for the first time when expressing them here. Therefore, it combines concepts I knew and others "I did not know".

It always happens to me when I give the process of writing to the inner sage: a text emerges which is the combination of experience and inspiration.

This book is dedicated to Neville Goddard, American mystic. He dedicated his life to divulging principles of ancient traditions of mysticism and wisdom that are summed up what he called the Law of the Assumption. I will refer to him and his work in the next chapter, for the time being I would like to dedicate this book to him. It is my tribute to his work which has inspired a great change in my life. I owed him this book in gratitude.

What may be hindering your progress right now is not what you do not know, but what you know and doesn't work (or worse: what you know and it has never been true). As you will see in this book I'm going to give a 180 degree turn to conventional beliefs that are a mortgage on the average person's mind.

I ask you to read it with total openness of your mind. Abandon some of the preconceived ideas you have about the world because what’s next will require all your receptivity.

I have tried to transmit timeless truths by using the simplest words. You may still need to read two or more times a paragraph to get the most out of it. Throughout the reading, you will read the words: Divinity, Presence, Spirit, Source... Open yourself to a new meaning of these concepts that to me have nothing of religious although they are very spiritual. As you know, religion is a subset of spirituality, which is broader.

You may have been struck by the word “manifestation" in the title of this book; although it may seem a confusing idea, it is much more accurate to me than "creation", because I have realised that we actually do not create anything. Rather we "manifest” intentions from the field of all possibilities; already created. And we "just" make them land in the world of the form. We all express intentions that want to reach the world of the form; and in a very real sense, all our achievements are co-creations because we never get anything on our own.

I will use two key concepts, which should be clear: reality and world, unchanging meaning.

• Reality is invisible, it is the spiritual realm, and it is the matrix of all that is visible in the world of things. It's the cause. It is the only reality.

• The world of things is the manifestation of the invisible dimension. It is the effect. It is a projection.

In other words, the visible world that you perceive is less real in invisible reality. A quantum physicist would call them deployed order and implicate order. World and reality.

  1. Consciousness. It is the Divinity, the spirit and any other end word that you want to use. Known. It is the realm of the spirit. It has no levels.
  2. Awareness. It is the mind, the means or tool by which consciousness is expressed. Perceive It is the domain of the ego, and it has levels.

Conscience is a mental state that induces action but does not inspire it, as inspiration comes from consciousness. Simplifying it, the Spirit uses the mind to express itself in the world. Later on throughout the reading you will better understand that difference between consciousness and conscience.

This book will teach you that manifesting desires is very simple.

Because the world is a dream; and in it, one can dream what he wants, so that what we want cannot not happen there. But it will also teach you, and this is even more incredible, that there is a unique reality beyond the world you see. The reason of writing this book is to show you who you are because you don't know it yet. The end is ambitious, and the outcome promising, but the price you will pay is to question all your previous beliefs.

Follow the order of the book, and climb the ladder of conscience until you reach the formula of manifestation: the Miracle Process, three steps to travel from the non-manifested to the manifested. But don't go straight to that chapter, if you don't follow the order of reading of the book, it will make no sense what you will learn there.

I wrote this book because one day I longed for an ideal lifestyle. Now it's a brighter reality than I imagined and I want to put in your service what has helped me the most to achieve. I applied myself to the outer action and inner action. In other of my books I have told you about outer action, so now it is turn to focus on inner action. This book will help you achieve your desires from the inner power, without any superior force in the world.

¿Shall we begin?

I think we already have, but in any case, turn the page.

Neville Goddard and the science of realizing your desires

Neville Goddard, though he was one of the most influential authors of the American movement "New Thinking", is a forgotten genius of American metaphysics. After reading his work I find it difficult to believe that his name is unknown, not to the average person of any country, but even to the scholars of the sciences of success. This may be your case, but don't worry, after this reading, you'll be an expert on his teachings.

Neville wrote his work in the middle of the last century, but don't be confused, his truths are timeless and perfectly applicable today, in fact, it's something I think the world today desperately needs. Many times we go out in search of the last idea, the new guru, the new fashion... and forget the value of ancient and perennial wisdom. What the human being has already discovered but needs to rediscover over and over again in order not to fall back into the dream of ignorance.

In this sense, the secrets revealed in this book are lost secrets. Not because they are not accessible to anyone, but because they are forgotten by everyone. Who knows if it is because they are so accessible and available that they are so ignored. Or maybe it's its simplicity that seems to take away its value.

I discovered Neville Goddard through the author Dr. Wayne Dyer, who mentions him in some of his works as a mentor and source of inspiration. I spent two years reading Neville Goddard, and letting his revealing ideas about the science of manifestation accompany me; and the most important, applying these timeless principles in all aspects of my life. Step by step his influence started soaking up my personal life. And the changes came.

But don't get confused, I'm not just talking about tangible results and objective events, but about a clarity about the way life operates that he achieved, for example, the words such as: selfesteem, doubt, struggle, crisis, scarcity, effort, fear, uncertainty, loneliness... disappeared from my vocabulary. Now they're meaningless concepts to me. I believe Neville has turned what was growing prosperity into unlimited abundance, and my personal growth into spiritual completeness. I entered in a state of remarkable clarity. And that state of grace spread to the world creating a good influence for everyone.

I studied his books and lectures, and I discovered a set of laws that I’m going to condense and reveal to you in these pages.

As I wanted to know his teachings, I read over and over his ten books, his complete work. Sometimes in Spanish, sometimes in English, the original language in which it was written. And every time I discovered a new revelation that had gone unnoticed in my previous readings. This is one of the hallmarks of the great authors: they always show you something new in every review of their material, and this is because their texts distill accurately the knowledge that you are willing to absorb in every reading, but no more.

And what I found changed my life forever. Keep reading and you will know why; the same will happen to you, you'll see. The "12 powers" of the "Manifestation Code" explain and illustrate the teachings of Neville Goddard (Neville from now on) in a simple and practical language. My goal is that in a few hours of reading you can share the vision of this forgotten genius of American metaphysics.

I investigated about him as a person. This is what I found:

Neville (1905-1972) was born in Barbados, British Antilles, in 1905, in one of the most prominent families of the islands. In 1922, he traveled to EE.UU to study theatre when he was seventeen years old. But he soon desisted, coincidentally when he met a Kabbalah master.

In 1932 he devoted himself to his studies of mysticism and he began his career as a lecturer in New York. He studied spiritual subjects throughout his entire life and was recognised as a mystic. As I said, he soon knew the Hebrew Kabbalah and mystical Christianity. He had a great ability to clarify the hidden meaning of the Bible in the metaphors it uses, to bring its content into the mystical field.

He was one of the most influential professors in the field of American "New Thought". This movement of 19th and 20th century mystics was distinguished for two basic signs of identity. The first premise: between the human being and the Divinity there are no intermediaries, because they are the same and an experience of direct connection with the source is required. And the second premise, the power of thought (imagination combined with emotion) manifests reality.

Neville, chronologically, is a hundred years before the modern New Age movement which adopts his principles and re-elaborates them. It was a precursor of what today is known as The Law of Attraction (explained in The Secret).

Although in my opinion it was a step further and his depth is much greater. He always stressed the importance of the power of imagination that he equaled to a divine quality. He also explained the metaphorical meaning of the Bible, which he considered a psychological drama. To him the ultimate goal of the human being is conscious union with the divine and awakening the consciousness of Christ in us.

He used the power of imagination to change the circumstances of his own life and recounted his personal experiences in his lectures. For example, in one of them, he explained how with the use of the power of imagination, he managed to be discharged, with honours, from military service and thus he was able to continue his lectures during World War II. Also, how on one occasion, using imaginative power, he was able to get tickets from a sea trip, during the era of The Great Depression, from New York to Barbados, and being able to visit his family.

After traveling all over the country, he established his home in Los Angeles, where, at the end of the fifties, he gave talks on TV and radio, in addition to lectures to large audiences in the Wilshire Ebell Theatre during the sixties. Neville gave his lectures without using notes and ended them with question-and-answer shifts with the audience.

When asked if he recorded his lectures, he replied: "I haven't recorded anything, some record in my lectures for their own use, that's perfectly fine, but I don't have any recordings." Thanks to his generosity, today we have those lectures his students recorded in Los Angeles and San Francisco. And his ten books were also printed in English, some published in Spanish. Neville died on October 1, 1972, in Los Angeles. Luckily, his message continues for people who want to get close to his work.

These are his ten books:

1. The power of awareness

2. Your faith is your fortune

3. Law and the promise

4. Awakened Imagination

5. Prayer: The art of believing

6. Out of this world

7. Seedtime and harvest

8. Feeling is the secret

9. Freedom for all

10. At your command

In my opinion his most accomplished book is The power of awareness. If you're just going to read a book by Neville, read this one though it is not edited in Spanish. He also left us a lot of transcribed lectures, some recorded by his listeners.

The only one I have found edited in Spanish is Your faith is your fortune by Ediciones Obelisco. Read his books, not once, but several times, as they deserve the effort of his study to achieve a more successful life. And, although his style is one of an author of the last century, a Bible scholar, his literary tone is from the fifties, it is close and simple.

The reordering (The Manifestation Code) of his teachings (the 12 powers) is attributable only to me and I apologise if I have not been completely rigorous in understanding and reelaborating his teachings, but being myself an author of personal development, it is impossible for me to dispense with other sources of influence that I have received throughout my life.

This is not a book about Neville's life and work, but based on the principles that govern his work, and explained in the best way I know so that you can use them and change your life. Let us see it.
